The project declared this address spoken for — usually an id cited in prose before the line existed — and a write tried to use it anyway.

What it means

reserved_ids says this address is spoken for and never written as a line, and a line carries it — so the declaration and the file disagree, and which of them is right is the author’s to say.

Two or more doors are open and which one is right is a judgement about the work.

What closes it

• roadkeep renumber … — the reservation stands; the line and its dependents move to an address of their own
• roadkeep next-id — the reservation is stale; drop the token from reserved_ids, and this says what the deriver answers once it is gone (reads only)
