id.duplicate

Usually a merge where two branches each added a line and the id counter had not yet seen the other. It is also what a hand-written id produces the first time two people are working at once.

What it means

Two lines carry one id, and whether that is one thing written twice or two things colliding is the only thing the tool cannot read off the file.

Two or more doors are open and which one is right is a judgement about the work.
