# Mini GPT

A character-level GPT written from scratch in plain Java, with no ML library at all: counting bigrams first, then backpropagation derived by hand, then a small transformer. The course is in Portuguese, with the maths on screen and four demos that run in the browser.

## Install

Build:

```
mvn -q package -DskipTests
```

Run:

```
java -jar target/mini-gpt-java.jar train --model bigram
